Ugly Betty’s Kevin Alejandro Joining True Blood As Lafayette’s Love Interest
OMG. I cannot handle this.
After announcing that producers had found theirwerewolf Alcide in One Tree Hill’s Joe Manganiello and that Emmy-winner Alfre Woodard will play the mother of Lafayette, played by Nelsan Ellis, in the upcoming third season of HBO’s supernatural hit, Southlandstar Kevin Alejandro is joining the cast as well, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Alejandro — who you might also recognize from Ugly Betty or Weeds — will play Jesus, an orderly taking care of Lafayette’s mother Ruby Jean Reynolds, who is in a care facility.
Appearing in almost every episode of the third season, according to the report, Jesus and Lafayette will become romantically involved. Makes you wonder what Jesus’s secret will be — everyone in Bon Temps seems to have one!

I can’t wait. I love Kevin Alejandro. But you know it’s going to be PG…Ugh! To make it interesting, Eric should be a little jealous that Lafayette was not spellbound by him even though he drank his blood. Eric is a bit of an egomaniac so it would be plausible…lol.

I totally agree!!!! And I think since it’s HBO they’ll be a lil more interested in making it racey. There was stuff that got a lil steamy on Oz while that was on, so here’s hoping!

Was Kevin the gay dude in Season one of Big Love? He went to a hotel with Alby Grant who freaked out due to his wacko religious brainwashing. The scene where Kevin (I think it’s Kevin) went down on Alby’s sandwich was hot even tho no sex ensued.
