I remember a good number of years back, on one of those MTV anniversary specials or something, they had this short clip of former VJ Dave Holmes talking about working on New Year’s Eve with Billie. He said when the new year began and everyone went at it, Billie grabbed him and they made out. Of course back then I was in high school and a little less aware, so I thought it was just awesome that these two dudes threw caution to the wind and kissed. Since then I learned that Holmes is gay and Billie’s bi.

    ohhh yeah I remember Dave Holmes!! he came later on during my Senior year (class of 99!!) brings back memories! Didn’t he second place on “who wants to be a VJ?” but still became a VJ anyway? well hmm now lookin back about it I can’t believe I didn’t see it before, he IS gay! I guess I was very unaware of the situation as well. and well, as I said, Billie Joe will always have a place in my adolescent heart. :P

  4. GAH!!!!! Rewind! back to ’94 I was in 8th grade and I had Green Days the “Dookie” album I was 13/14 yrs old.. I was living in an isolated small town in Northern AZ the only cool music was on MTV back when they PLAYED music, haha. Rock music was still mostly Grunge, but Green Day had that Faux-Punk rock thing going on that I was, and still am so attracted to. Mind you I was mostly into R&B music at the time. But Green Day was huge, and something about the whole “punk” “I don’t give a fuck” NON-pretty-boy thing that they have, as well as Tom Armstrong lead singer from “RANCID”… GAH ok I”m just rambling about punk rockers now. But I do remember Billie with an interview with “MTV LiVE” (before the TRL rubbish), and he insinuated giving a blow job to his Drum player…OK in a Sheltered, closeted, isolated world for a Latino gay 13 yr old boy in the mid 90′s that was like BOIIING! I was hooked to them ever since haha kk hope my lil story wasn’t too much :D

    lmfao that’s priceless, I have like almost the same story. Young, R&B listener, slowly turned into Rock fan by MTV. God, whatever happened to that channel, I miss it when it used to be good! I’d never head that interview though. If anyone can find it online, I’d love to watch lol! I didn’t know this about Billie either, but I love it none the less lol.

  6. Yeah, it’s Billie’s teeth. With all the money he’s made, wouldn’t you think he’d spend some on cosmetic dentistry? I would not, however, turn down sex with him. He no doubt gives great head.
