    My thoughts exactly but I wouldn’t expect less from the gay community. I’ve honestly never understood the outrage over Jake Cruise. He doesn’t look that much different from your average forty something male. If people think he’s honestly so “gross” then God help them when they get to that age.

    Despite my comment earlier I am not one who is hung up on age and looks. I meant specifically about the man himself, not all men his age. I was with a wonderful, hot and hung 52 year old guy the other night. Wonderful conversation, normal physique (the way I prefer it) and a very very hot top. However, most of the gay community is not this way, I do highly agree. I try not to be this way, wish more did. Jake Cruise is NOT in his 40s and remember its porn.. porn is based on fantasy, which is unrealistic looks.

    I agree w/ PJ on this one. I’ve seen a number of men in their 40s and 50s and even 60s who I’ve been attracted to and they all looked much better than Cruise does. It’s nothing against the age itself, I simply don’t find HIM attractive specifically, and that’s not what I look for in my porn. I don’t think it’s fair to make that kind of judgement on the gay community as a whole.

    Hmm…why do I not buy that? And the reason it matters is because I highly doubt you’d find very many gay men over 40 that WOULDN’T say there’s a stigma in the gay community against older men.

    generalizations are never accurate, there are exceptions to every rule. I also know about a lot of 40+ year olds who aren’t attracted to people in their age group and solely go after 20 year olds. So if there is an overwhelming stigma in this community, then older gentlemen are just as guilty of perpetrating it as young guys. And either way, I don’t buy into it b/c I don’t feel that way, so if I’m the only exception than fine. I have nothing against guys of any age, I’m capable of seeing beauty anywhere, I simply don’t see it in Cruise. As far as the number of people I know, lol you can believe what you will, I pride myself on a diverse group of friends, and that’s that.

  8. It’s not that Jake Cruise is older. It’s that he’s simply not attractive, which is not something I’m interested in. But some people like their porn this way, so I’m not judging… just want to point out that ageism might not be behind every negative comment.

  10. I have been intinate with guys in their teens, twenties, thirties, forties, and fifties. I’d don’t care about age. Age is just a state of mind. You can be beaitiful at any age.   15. It is amazing how naive most of the gay men can get….Gay life is based on looks and age. After a certain age, you lose your “gay” p[assport. Look at the majority of comments on almost any site when you show men over 40, 50, 60, etc. The word that stings and is prominent is “trools”. It was only after the A
    IDS epidemic that gay men were bitched slapped into understanding that we get old and die. Until then this fantasy world existed. Get real men, we all grow old second by second and why do we castigate those in our community that are older and perhaps not in buff shape. WE are a community of narcissistic people and that is a sad commentary on us as human beings.
    All of us are guilty. When was the last time you did something for someone who wasn’t porn star beautifulo. When was the lsaat time you just did something for another human being because they needed a touch of kindness in their life? It is one thing to have our fantasies, but it is more important to human and kind just because that is what we should all be about.
