I know Madonna’s never exactly been Whitney Houston, but what the hell happened to her voice? Justin’d be better off just singing the whole thing himself.

I have to agree with Chris on this one. She sounds horrible. Maybe it’s those lower register notes she’s having difficulty with.

Full out massive choriography, singing live & turning 50 this year. OK, now you try it. There’s nobody on earth that has done what she’s done and there wont ever be anyone else.

Yeah, she’s a talented woman. ^^ I agree with what he says. But, it’s true that she didn’t sound stellar. It also might be her song, mind you. The instrumentals drown out the singing. You have to strain your ears to hear the words.

What does the choreography have to do with anything? She sounded horrible from the moment she stepped out, before she was even doing anything. And Justin’s doing the choreography, yet he sounds just fine.
Not to mention, if you watch other performances from this same concert, like Hung Up, she sounds just as bad and all she’s doing is standing there playing the guitar.
Sad that Justin got bigger applause when he entered than Madonna did–at her own concert! LOL. A mess.
The reality is, Madonna used to have a decent singing voice. Now she’s just a windy bag of bones. Give it up and stop trying to be young and sexy.

Im sorry but that is wrong, i saw madonna live in london on the confessions tour, with way more dancing and she sounded amazing! im not saying she sounded great this time, but it is VERY difficult to sing and dance at the same time and i give her 8/10 for effort!

actually, i think it was justin’a fault madonna sounded bad. if you listen to when he was saying ‘give it give it up, don’t be a pri, madonna’ it was HE who couldn’t hit the notes from the song.
also, later on, there is a point where justin wasn’t singing in the chorus, and madonna sounded twice as better. just because justin couldn’t hit the low notes doesn’t mean madonna didn’t… justin is who made it sound off.

to don, it’s not that hard to sing and dance at the same time. beyonce is ALWAYS singing and dancing at the same time, and sounds much better. she was even singing while lying down on her back, and sounded better than madonna.

Oooooh sdinak, you took the words right out of my MOUTH!! I was just thinking Tina has done that and more (approaching 70) LOL… Granted Madonna has carved out her place and is part of Ultimate POP Royalty, but the truth is that very few Pop artists have strong voices and they loose whatever voice they had as time goes on (even Patti Labelle can’t sing like she used to). Madonna lost the live-performance-voice a while ago, but you gotta give it to the girl’s “testicular fortitude” for still going up there live! And anyway, this song sucks major ass 2… leave it to Timbaland to try sooo hard to make a hit, it comes out sounded like… well… shit. (ah, I know, that’s so not fetch)
