R.I.P. Heath Ledger

I’m not sure what to say.  One of our greatest young actors has passed unexpectedly, found dead in his NYC apartment amidst sleeping pills.

He was one of my favorite actors, but I’m still surprised at how emotional I am from hearing the news.  I’m in a complete state of shock.  It always hurts me when I see young, bright, talented people–celebrity or not–pass away.

All we can do is be thankful for the wonderful, brave performances Heath has given us, and send our thoughts and prayers to his young daughter Matilda, who is now without a father.

Rest in peace, Heath.

  1. Rest in peace, Heath. I admired him for his brave performance in Brokeback Mountain, and the way he steered away from heartthrob roles and took on projects that meant something deeper. He was a great actor, and I’m so sad to hear the news.

  2. It is very upsetting that he had to pass away the way he did. He showed us to go away from the norm and to be who we are and stand up for what we believe. I know that he’ll always be remembered as the amazing actor that he was.

  3. I am so hurt by the death of Heath Ledger. I am not a big fan of any actor, but to hear that he’s dead, really hurts me. I hope his family stays strong. I know he’s going to watch over them and make sure they’re safe. I hope investigators find out why his death was so unexpected.
