On A Serious Note

I lost my little brother to AIDS when he was only thirteen, so this song reminds me of him.

That’s absolutely heart-breaking – the song and about your brother.

I lost my mother this year after her five-year bout with deteriorating health, and I lost my brother earlier after he was struck down at only the age of 20. I can’t imagine what it felt like for you to lose your brother so tragically, but your post touched me deeply. May we always have their memories to guide our lives.

Chris,
This is very touching. Thank you.
I have lost friends in their 20s and 30s to AIDS and over the years family members to to heart disease and cancer. Life is precious. May we remember them and love each other more in the New Year!
PS Hope, Hock24, Hayden – My best wishes to you !

I recently wrote and performed a song for someone who passed away recently, and Celine holds it together very well, it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do is write and perform something that does justice to a person, and then perform it to the people who loved them. I feel for you and anyone else who has seen someone they love pass away.
